In April 2020, Maria founded "Maria Makes Lil’ Things" as a heartfelt way to reconnect with friends and family by sending handwritten letters. Soon after, she began sharing her beautifully crafted cards with a broader audience, dedicating a portion of the proceeds to various charitable causes. The cards are a testament to her diverse creative talents, spanning paper cutout designs, watercolor paintings, captivating photography, and intricate mixed media creations.
Notably, during Pride Month in June, Maria's venture raised over $400 in support of LGBTQ+ charities through the sale of a vibrant rainbow watercolor series.
